That is exactly what we prepared for, and it really gave our guys a good idea of just what we will be seeing regularly. A credit to Glenbard West for how they competed this afternoon.
“Wes Bergevin came up big twice on balls that got in and he closed well and made good strong saves. I can see Wes grow with effort time out, and he clearly is settling in. Not sure how much more I can compliment our back line. They play strong as a core group and are so hard to break down. All the credit to them for how they stayed composed and worked all game. Christian stepped up like I knew he would and recorded the game winner today. His competitiveness really raises the bar for our group and he showed that again this afternoon.”
