Thursday, Oct. 17

Huntley 4, Vernon Hills 0
The Red Raiders closed out the regular season with a 20-2-1 mark after winning the nonconference road match. Eduardo Gonzalez scored a pair of goals off of assists from Niko Mihalopoulos, who also had a goal. David Pardo collected the initial score while Angel Sanchez assisted Mihalopoulos on the final goal. Austen Emery and Tommy Helm each played a half to record the shutout in goal for Huntley.

Lake Park 4, Fenton 0
The Lances (15-2-3) won the nonconference match in Bensenville thanks to a hat trick from Mike Catalano and a goal from Kris Lopez.

Hinsdale Central 2, Addison Trail 0
Christian Meyer had a goal and an assist and the Red Devils (18-0-2) got a goal from TJ Schmidt and an assist from Brandon Kim in the win.

 

Wednesday, Oct. 16

Lyons Township 5, Proviso West 1
Matt Murphy had two goals and two assists, Frankie Kocimski had a goal and an assist, and the Lions (13-2-3, 5-1 in WSS play) got a goal apiece from Patrick Duncan and Danny Thomas in the win.

Huntley 3, Grayslake North 0
Eduardo Gonzalez struck twice and Niko Mihalopoulos tallied once for Huntley (19-2-1), with Matt Kitsis and Reyman Solis adding assists in the win. Austen Emery made 5 saves in the Red Raiders' 13th shutout of the season.

Leyden 6, Riverside-Brookfield 4
Christian Hernandez and Albert Arabik had two goals apiece in the win for Leyden (11-8-1).

 

Tuesday, Oct. 15

Hinsdale Central 6, York 0
Max Krohn had a pair of goals and Jack Niestrom had a goal and 2 assists for the Red Devils (17-0-2, 6-0 in WSS play), who completed their second consecutive season of unbeaten play in the conference. Sam Johnson, Alex Knight, and Brandon Kim also scored in the win, with Justin Yi posting 2 assists and Christian Meyer chipping in one on the day.

Crystal Lake South 5, Prairie Ridge 1
Matt Tobolt had 2 goals and an assist for the Gators (8-11-3, 3-3 in FVC Valley play), who also got 2 goals from Brad Wisser, 1 from Ryan Russman, and assists from Charlie Ruff, Orlando Tapia, and Stefan Harris. Gus Alvarez made 3 saves in net for CL South.

Neuqua Valley 5, Geneva 4
Ryan Ross struck twice and Neuqua (12-5-1) got goals from Kas Baladi, Kyle Carson, and Jake Loncar in the win, plus assists from Loncar, Carson, Reed Kurtenbach, and Xavi Ortiz, whil keeper Ricky Rolbecki made 5 saves in the win. Geneva (7-10-0) got a goal and an assist from both Jason Lagger and Beck Nebergall, goals from Matt Waldoch and Igor Honore, and and assists from Kris Brandli and Calen Colbert.

Huntley 3, McHenry 1
The Red Raiders (18-2-1, 5-1 in FVC Valley play) got a pair of assists from Jason Zobott, goals from Christian Ramos, Travis Walsh, and David Pardo, and an assist from Amir Dajani in the win.

Marmion 4, IMSA 0
Jake Hutchison had 2 goals and an assist for Marmion (13-6-2, 6-1 in SCC play), which also got goals from Gavin Sanchez and Trevor Jones, and a pair of assists from Sanchez on the night. Matt Fletcher was in net for the Cadets' 9th shutout of the year.

Hersey 3, Fremd 0
Alex Mueller, John Cappuccitti, and Mike Kaczor scored for Hersey (13-3-3, 9-2-1), with assists coming from Kaczor and Campbell White in the MSL crossover game against Fremd (7-7-6, 6-3-3).

West Chicago 2, Larkin 0
Oscar Alvarado and Freddy Flores scored for the Wildcats and "Paolino Mansera had a great game in net", WEGO coach Jose Villa said.
