Naperville North 3, Boylan 2
Alec Thompson, Chris Sullivan, and Geoff Horn talllied for the Huskies (6-1-1), in their third consecutive shutout and third of the season.

Benet 5, Carmel 2
Michael Rindler had 2 goals and Kyle Kenagy had a goal and an assist in the win for Benet (9-1, 2-0 in ESCC play). Ryan McKernan and Michael Manganelli also scored, while Theo Athanassiades and Steven Lobkovich had assists. Keepers Konrad Bayer and Jacob Spheeris had 5 saves apiece.

Hersey 6, Guilford 1
Mike Kaczor had 2 goals and 2 assists, John Cappuccitti scored twice, and Hersey got goals from Connor Reynolds and Dan Gremer in the win. Reynolds also had a pair of assists and George Boyle also had 2 assists for the Huskies.

Hersey 1, Springfield 1
Mike Kaczor converted a PK for the Huskies (6-2-2) in their final game of this year's Hononegah tournament.

Guilford 4, Crystal Lake South 2
Ryan Russman scored twice in the loss for the Gators (5-6-3), on assists from Dan Massat and Stefan Harris.

 

Friday, Sept. 20

Plainfield North 6, Joliet Catholic 2
Logan Wright had a goal and 4 assists for the Tigers (8-2-2), Tyler Petprachan had a goal and 2 assists, and Austin Collier scored twice in the win.

Thursday, Sept. 19

Neuqua Valley 2, Addison Trail 0
Ryan Ross scored off of an assist from Keath Levitt in the 18th minute and also following a pass from Jake Loncar in the 66th minute to help lead the Wildcats (5-3) to Thursday's nonconference road victory. Keeper Andrew Fadanelli made three saves to record his third shutout of the season.

West Chicago 2, Whitney Young 0
The Wildcats (4-5-1) received goals from Cesar Nieves and Vicente Tirado in Thursday's victory in the Pepsi Showdown. Paolino Mansera and Jon Garcia each played one half in goal to combine for the shutout.

Metea Valley 3, Lake Zurich 1
Goals for the Mustangs (4-3-3) came from Brandon Howard, Jake Celinski, and Ryan Donovan, with assists from Ian Connelly, Dakota Rowsey, and Esteban Castillo. Tim Howard made 7 saves and Jimmy Wyman made 6 in the win for Metea.

Wheaton Academy 3, Warren 1
The Warriors (8-1-0) got 2 goals from Sam Hardy and 1 from Casey Zimmerman, and assists from Reid Culberson, Marshall West, and Michael Carver, to advance to Saturday's semifinal round of this year's Pepsi Showdown, when they'll take on Morton.

Wheaton Warrenville South 2, Lake Forest Academy 1
Mike Bennet and Anthony Berardi scored one minute apart, within one minute from time, in the win for the Tigers (3-5-2).

Crystal Lake South 4, Woodstock 0
The Gators (5-4-2) got 2 goals from Stefan Harris and one apiece from Orlando Tapia and Ryan Russmann. Charlie Ruff had 2 assists and Jeff Kirshenbaum had one in the win, while Gus Alvarez made 4 saves for his 5th shutout of the season.

 


Tuesday, Sept. 17

Crystal Lake South 3, Grayslake North 0
The Gators (4-4-2) got a pair of goals from Orlando Tapia and one from Matt Tobolt in the win. Andrew Grabowski and Charlie Ruff assisted on goals and Gus Alvarez made two saves in his fourth shutout of the season.

Huntley 1, Lake Zurich 0 OT
Niko Mihalopoulos scored the game-winner for Huntley (9-0-1) in overtime on a David Pardo assist, while Austen Emergy made 7 saves in the Red Raiders' 7th shutout of the year.

West Chicago 2, Plainfield East 0
Ulises Rios and Sesar Nieves scored for the Wildcats (3-5-1) while Paolino Mansera and Jon Garcia split time in net for the shutout.

Fremd 3, Hoffman Estates 0
Nathan Dolan, Brock Von Holt, and Ben Poder scored for Fremd (3-5-2), with Von Holt and Jon Smith chipping in assists.

Lyons Township 5, Kelly 0
The Lions (6-0-2) got a hat-trick from Matt Murphy and goals from Frankie Kocimski and Patrick Duncan in the win, with Nick Jumic making 3 saves in LT's third consecutive shutout and third clean sheet of the season.

South Elgin 2, Bartlett 1
Andrew Gott score on a head shot for Bartlett, on an assist from Marcus Singleton. Justin Busch had 7 saves for the Hawks.

Benet 3, Bolingbrook 2
Paddy Lawler scored on a head shot with 10 seconds left in regulation to give Benet (7-1) the win, on a corner kick feed from Eddie Manzke. Michael Rindler and Kyle Kenagy also scored for the Redwings, with Kristian Cikoch and Andrew Heaton on the assists.

Grayslake Central 4, Jacobs 2
Konrad Wasilewski had a goal and an assist and Tim Hubner scored in the loss for Jacobs (3-5-1), while Daniel Kim also had an assist on the day.

Wheaton Warrenville South 2, Loyola 0
The Tigers (2-5-2) got goals from Jack Coutre and Anthony Berardi and assists from Max Leonard and Luis Cruz in the win. Keeper Edison Gomez made 4 saves in the shutout.

Hersey 2, Rolling Meadows 1
John Cappuccitti scored on a Charlie Davenport assist and Mike Kaczor had a goal in the win for Hersey (5-2-0).


Monday, Sept. 16

Plainfield North 2, Batavia 2
Plainfield North (7-1-2) got goals from Jake Novacek and Nick Anweiler, while Batavia (6-2-1) got a goal from Kevin Collins on a John Barnes assist and a freekick goal from Ian Larson.
